GERC Construction is one of the leading operators of the construction market of Ukraine. The company was founded in 1990 and was in the top ten of first open joint ventures in the Soviet Union in (at first - the Soviet-Yugoslav later - Ukrainian-Croatian company).
Thanks to the professionalism of the Company president Sergei Alexandrovich Rotov, GERC has taken significant positions in the construction business in the Donetsk region and, since 1995, began to conduct independent operations.
In 2006 Alexander Rotov, son of the founder, joined the management of the company. As a result, the strategic decision was made to create a construction company GERC Construction, which today is run by a team of young, motivated, competent professionals that make up the Supervisory Board.
Today GERC Construction - is one of the fastest growing companies in Ukraine, which unites several major enterprises of the construction and related industries. Our company is well represented in the construction market of Ukraine by a namber of successfully implemented construction projects. In the next 5 years we plan to occupy the leading positions in the Ukrainian construction market.
March 6, 1990 - the official registration of the first in the construction industry USSR Soviet-Yugoslav joint venture GERC.
1996 - GERC is reopened as a Ukrainian company after Croatian experts left the comapny.
2006
GERC Group establishment.
May - the beginning of cooperation between GERC Construction and METRO Cash & Carry; construction of shopping center in Donetsk.
2007
beginning of cooperation between GERC Construction and French retail chain Auchan; reconstruction of administrative building and production hall at the mall premises in Kiev.
2008
May 15 - October 21 - an unprecedented implementation of METRO project - recycling of a waste heaps in Makeyevka and construction of a wholesale center on its place.
2009
two projects for an international client Auchan Ukraine fully completed in a record time.
GERC Construction was one of the first companies in the Ukrainian construction industry that received the international certificate ISO 9001:2008 for the company’s management system’s full compliance with international standards in the following areas: general contracting, project management in civil and industrial construction, design and engineering works in construction. The certification was awarded by “BUREAU VERITAS AS”.
GERC Construction was fully audited by BAKER TILLY with the issuance of an international audited report.
2010
The company celebrated the 20th anniversary on the construction market.
GERC is among the top 10 general contractors in Ukraine according to "BUILDING BUSINESS".
2011
President of GERC Construction Alexander S Rotov was chosen to be representative of the European Economic Senate, responsible for the "architecture and urbanization of cities" direction.
GERC Construction is among the 10 most popular general contractors in Ukraine according to "BUILDING BUSINESS".
2012
President of GERC Construction, Alexander S Rotov was elected as a head of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine.
GERC Construction has been certified according to international standards of ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
June – GERC Construction has been licensed L300 1714 by BRE Global Association for Universal Property valuation method ecology BREEAM.
2013
January - third supervisory audit of the construction site assessor for BREEAM (the international standard "green" building).
March 22, 2013 Alexander S Rotov, president of GERC Construction, received certificate awarding him the status of an arbitrator under permanent arbitration building court (review of disputes related to construction activities).
26-27.03.13 - was first audit of the Integrated Management System according to ISO 14001 (environment) and OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and industrial safety).
March - Start of "Green Office" program in the office GERC Construction. Our company officially joined the project GREENPEACE «Green office."
May - 4th supervisory audit of the construction site on the BREEAM assessor to comply with the "green" construction. Our company has successfully passed this audit and confirmed compliance with the standard three sections MAN2 (1 point), MAN3 (2 points) and WST1 (1 point).
September - was 5th compliance audit of the construction site on the BREEAM assessor to comply with the "green" construction. Our company has successfully passed this audit and to ensure that the three sections are of standard MAN2 (1 point), MAN3 (3 points) and WST1 (2 points).
November – GERC Construction has successfully passed the compliance audit of the quality management system according to ISO 9001 (quality).
